Artwork: Você acha por aí na net umas capas de DVD, em baixa qualidade, e sempre com o tracklist errado. A mais razoável que achei está no fim do post. Baixe se quiser, recomendo construir a sua! Eu fiz isso.
(You find around the net some low quality DVD covers, and always with the wrong tracklist. The most reasonable one i found is at the end of this post. Download if you like, but i recommend you to build your own! So i did.

Meu Deus, o que dizer disso? Cara, a imagem não é totalmente maravilhosa, o áudio podia ser melhor (a platéia vai a LOUCURA nesse show, é chato de ouvir tanto aplauso), principalmente por ser um PROSHOT (nome comum entre os "bootleggers", designa filmagem profissional. Vocês verão muito disso aqui!), mas ainda assim é um registro FABULOSO. Junte com os bônus nos "OUTTAKES" (performances não lançadas no vídeo oficial) e você terá 2 horas dos Wings ao vivo em sua formação clássica! Cara, antes de mais nada, BAIXEM ISSO e façam um DVD pra ver e ouvir em casa. Eu fiz um (claro), e a qualidade melhora bastante, tanto áudio quanto vídeo. Falando nisso, havia escutado o áudio desse show faz um bom tempo, e sempre ficava impressionado. Quando achei o vídeo, baixei na hora! Ver a coisa toda é lindo! Sir James está NO PICO de sua performance, super simpático, cantando MUITO, super empolgado. Além da indiscutível competência como músico, é um frontman nato. Eu confesso que nunca fui com a cara do Denny Laine, apesar do cara ser um bom músico. Quase como o Paul, transita no show todo entre guitarra, guitarra de 12, baixo e piano. A primeira dama Linda está nos teclados (ou quase, meio que faz de conta) e em precisos e fortes backing vocals (a banda não seria a mesma sem ela, sem dúvida). Esse baterista, Joe English, pra mim é o melhor que passou pelos Wings. O cara tem a energia que a banda precisa, e todos sabem que um baterista tem que ter é isso mesmo: GOOD VIBES! Além de ser bastante técnico, ele canta, é muito criativo e tem a mão pesadíssima quando precisa, e o mais importante: sabe dosar isso, fica claro assistindo o show. Jimmy McCulloch... Cara, que pena. Mais um gênio que morreu aos 26 anos de overdose. Mas pô, overdose de heroína! Tem que ser muito vacilão mesmo pra morrer disso. Uma pena. Grande guitarrista, escuta a timbragem desse cara! Sei que ele era músico de estúdio, gravou com uma galera da pesada, além de ter sido de bandas importantes (quem não conhece o Thunderclap Newman, simplesmente PRECISA conhecer. Vou postar aqui, mais cedo ou mais tarde). Não há muito o que dizer... A abertura clássica "Venus and Mars / Rock Show / Jet", funciona super bem, uma iluminação primorosa dá todo o efeito. Vale lembrar que foi a mesma abertura do MAIS RECENTE SHOW DE SIR JAMES AQUI NO BRASIL, EM SÃO PAULO, QUE SEGUNDO O PRÓPRIO, FOI DOS MELHORES DA TURNÊ!!! E SEGUNDO ELE, SIM, O DE DOMINGO! EU FUI!!! Hehehehehehe! As duas dos ilustres desconhecidos Denny Laine e McCulloch ("Spirits of ancient Egypt" e "Medicine Jar", respectivamente) deixam muito a desejar, acho chatas, especialmente a de Laine; totalmente previsível e muito longa. Bom, o set acústico... "Bluebird" é uma canção LINDA, LINDA, LINDA de morrer... A performance aqui vai pelo menos um tom acima do original, e pra mim, fica MUITO MELHOR. Grande performance aqui, os backing vocals da Linda são maravilhosos, complementam a canção totalmente. "Go now" quase me convence de que Denny Laine é um cara legal. Daí pra frente é só pauleira! Definitivamente o melhor está pro fim. "Let 'em in" eu sou suspeito pra falar. AMO essa música, foi das que mais chorei no show em São Paulo. A performance aqui é inspiradíssima, traz uma nova quebra de clima pro show. Aqui você até percebe que tem um naipe de metais na banda! São os mesmos caras que gravaram os discos de estúdio (ah, desculpa, saber o nome de todos já é demais, tenho muita coisa na cabeça), e eles arrebentam! Fazem os arranjos com primor, e ainda tocam flautas (aí são madeiras, estou certo?) e percussões várias. "Listen what the man said" é uma versão diferente, mais acelerada! McCartney diz: "... if you'd like to get up off your seat, get some exercise, you know... Shake your bum!" (se quiser levantar do seu assento, fazer exercício, sabe... Rebolar!) e é isso mesmo que rola! Uma versão MARAVILHOSA! "Beware my love" é uma performance vocal de Paul memorável, incrível mesmo. Cara, só posso tecer elogios. Viciei demais nesse show quando queimei o DVD. Claro, fiz de bônus os outtakes! Cara, é imperdível. BAIXEM ISTO! Até porque dá um trabalhão fazer o upload dos arquivos, principalmente em mais de um servidor! Sim, podem baixar mais de uma parte de uma vez, só trocar o servidor, o arquivo é o mesmo. Viu como sou bonzinho? rsrsrsrrs!!!

My God, what can i say about this? Man, the video isn't totally wonderful, the audio could be better (the crowd goes CRAZY on this show, it's boring to hear so much clapping), specially for being a PROSHOT (common name among the "bootleggers", designates a professional shooting. You'll see a lot of this here!), but still is a FABULOUS register. Get it together with the "OUTTAKES" (unreleased in the official video) and you'll have 2 hours of Wings live in their classic line-up! DOWNLOAD this and burn a DVD to hear and see at home. I did one (of course), and the quality improves a lot, audio and video. Speaking of this, i heard the audio from this show a long time ago, and i was always amazed. When i found the video, i downloaded it right on! Seeing the whole thing is beautiful! Sir James is at THE PEAK of his performance, very charismatic, singing DREADFULLY GOOD, very excited. Besides of his unspeakable musicianship, he's a natural frontman. I must confess that i never quite liked Denny Laine's face, but the guy is a great musician. Almost like Paul, goes around on the show between guitars, 12-sting guitars, bass and piano. Miss Linda in the keyboards (or almost, a bit of a fake) and in precise and strong backing vocals (the band would never be the same without her). This drummer, Joe English, to me is the best one that passed through Wings. The guy has the energy that the band needs, and we all know that this is what a drummer must have: GOOD VIBES! Besides of playing quite technically, he sings, very creative and has a heavy hand when needed, and most important: knows how and when to use it. It gets clear watching the show. Jimmy McCulloch... Man, what a shame. Another genious that died at 26 of overdose. But, heroin overdose?! You gotta be such a fool to die from this. A pity. Great guitarist, listen to the timbers of this guy! I know he was a studio musician, besides of being from important bands (who doesn't know Thunderclap Newman simply MUST know. I'll post it here sooner or later). Not much to say... The classic opening "Venus and Mars / Rock Show / Jet", works quite well, a prime work of lightning gives all the effect. It's nice to remember that in MOST RECENT SIR JAMES SHOW HERE IN BRAZIL, IN SAO PAULO, THAT ACCORDING TO HIMSELF, WAS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE TOUR! AND YET ACCORDING TO HIM, THE SUNDAY GIG! I WAS THERE! Hahahahahahaha! The 2 songs from the almost famous Denny Laine e McCulloch ("Spirits of ancient Egypt" e "Medicine Jar", respectively) are not that good, very boring, specially the one by Laine; totally predictable and very long. Well, the acoustic set.... "Bluebird" is a BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL song... The performance here goes at least a tone upper than the original, and to me, it gets MUCH BETTER. Great performance here, Linda's backing vocals are marvelous, they complete the song totally. "Go now" almost convinces me that Laine is a nice guy. From here is just ass kicking! Definately the best is to come. In "Let 'em in" i'm suspicious. I LOVE this song, it was the one that i most cried about in the show in São Paulo. The performance here is truly inspired, gets a new mood in the show. Here you even realize that there's a brass section in the band! The same guys that recorded in the studio albums (sorry, to know the name of each... I got some more stuff in mind, you know?) and they kick ass! Prime arrangements execution, and play flutes as well as many percussives. "Listen what the man said" has a different version, accelerated. McCartney says: "... if you'd like to get up off your seat, get some exercise, you know... Shake your bum!" and that's what it's all about! WONDERFUL version! "Beware my love" is a remarkable vocal performance by Paul, really amazing. Man, i can only give greetings to this one. I was totally addicted when i burned this in DVD. Of course, with the outtakes as bonus! Don't miss it. Specially because it's a "royal pain in the arse" (Hahahaha! Joke not avaliable in the portuguese version!) to upload all the files, specially in more than one server! Yes, you can download more than one part at a time, just trade server, the file is the same. See how nice i am? Hahahaha!
